Sewing Workshop

Ladies, please mark these dates. A Sewing Workshop for Healing Hands International will be held at Areopagus. Healing Hands is the international sister organization to the Churches of Christ Disaster Relief Team, which takes care of relief support in the U.S. The plan is for participants to meet at Camp Areopagus at 7 p.m. on Friday, April 21, for registration, meet & greet, snacks, and a devotional. Participants who wish will sleep in the cabins. We will have breakfast on Saturday morning. We will begin sewing at around 8 a.m. and sew until lunch time, around 11-11:30 a.m. We will continue sewing until around 2 p.m. That should give our out-of-town guests time to drive home before nightfall. Nancy Heffington from Healing Hands in Nashville will be here to talk about the work of the organization and to share patterns, ideas, and materials for us to sew. She will take back to Nashville the items sown on that day and any other items that we make ahead of time. If sewing is not your thing, we still need you at the workshop. There will be cooking, ironing, cutting, hand basting, and any number of other things to do.
